Opening night, Naropa BFA Performance, The Conference of the Birds (based on the poem by Farid Ud-din Attar, 12th c Persian poet), moments before the play begins with the musicians opening chords… Robert Spellman designed the floor (24 x 16 ft.), we painted it in two days with help from friends and the performers and their maestro, Lorenzo Gonzalez.
