Thanks, Jenni, for the recommendation of Toulouse-Lautrec sketches gathered in The Circus, a Dover book of 39 drawings. Here are some copies of circus bits drawn in gouache. Saw "Water for Elephants" last week. You might say it's a theme, the circus.
